Excellence is at the heart of everything AFIN does. Our 2025 festival celebrates the very best in filmmaking and storytelling from Australia and across the globe, with a strong focus on diversity, culture, and creative innovation.
After three unforgettable nights of screenings at Dendy Cinema, Portside, the festival culminates in our prestigious Red Carpet Awards Ceremony at SunPAC — a night where filmmakers, industry leaders, and film lovers come together to honour 20 award winners and acknowledge the outstanding nominees whose work shone throughout the festival.

Timing & Dress Code
- 4:30 pm – Red carpet opens and photography begins
- 5:40 pm – Seating opens
- 6:00 pm – Awards show begins
- ~9:30 pm – Formal proceedings conclude (venue closes at 10:00 pm)
- Dress Code: Formal, cocktail, or cultural attire is required. Professional red carpet photos are included with your ticket.

"What is the difference between a VIP and Standard Ticket?"
VIP places you with the best vantage point for the stage, live performances, Q&As, with special interactions with entertainment for VIPs only. It also places you seated near our judges, entertainers, and special guests.

Filming & Photography Consent
By attending, you consent to photography, video, and audio recording. These materials may be used for promotions, news, social media, or other festival activities without compensation or approval rights.

All guests are expected to behave respectfully. Harassment, unsafe, or disruptive behaviour may result in removal without refund.

In circumstances beyond our control, AFIN reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the event. Ticket holders will be notified and provided options in such cases.
