Dummies Corp Workshop

This workshop commences with action games, warming participants’ bodies physically and encouraging them to think about creative and interesting ways of moving. Participants will be guided through a series of physical theatre exercises and techniques. These exercises, suitable for all participants’ ages and skill levels, will be delivered in a fun and inclusive manner. Clowning skills will be developed through clown games and play, followed by a focus on slapstick techniques including tripping, falling and slapping in safe and comical non-contact, fun and rhythmic ways. The workshop concludes with a short performance showcasing the skills learnt. The workshop takes place on stage on the set of the show. No skills required. Suitable for ages 8-17.
