Join the Australian Army Band Brisbane at the SunPAC Performing Arts Theatre on Thursday 27 November. The full 22-piece big band, accompanied by a lineup of talented vocalists, will perform a vibrant mix of classic and contemporary favourites. 

Since its formation in 1949, the Australian Army Band Brisbane has provided ceremonial and musical support to the Australian Army and greater Australian Defence Force throughout South East Queensland as well as overseas; with some members having been deployed operationally. You can see the band regularly supporting commemorative activities such as Anzac Day and performing at community events, major concerts and charity fundraisers. The Australian Army Band Brisbane features a traditional big band line-up of saxophones, trumpets, trombones and rhythm section, complemented by a range of vocalists. You can expect to hear music from the traditional sounds of the big band era through to versions of contemporary rock and pop hits.
