Marketing and development manager
SunPAC is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Marketing and Development Manager (3 days per week) to promote and build on our success as a leading arts and cultural centre and multicultural community hub on Brisbane’s Southside.
Developing and implementing digital and social marketing, advertising and publicity campaigns will form a key part of the role, as will developing connections and partnerships with the local community, businesses and schools, to grow SunPAC’s profile and value as a community hub. Securing sponsorships and driving new collaborative opportunities, both financial and in-kind, will be part of the mix.
Architecturally striking, SunPAC has staged over 800 performances, shows and events since opening in October 2016, and entertained over 125,000 visitors throughout the centre which boasts a 300-seat theatre, soaring Skyview Foyer, private meeting room and alfresco SunPAC Green. SunPAC is proudly supported by Brisbane City Council and the Sunnybank Community and Sports Club.
As well as a year-round program of musicals, live theatre, and family and educational activities, SunPAC has hosted signature events including Brisbane Festival’s Street Serenades, 4MBS Festival of Classics, and the Brisbane Comedy Festival. Reflecting its surrounding community, SunPAC is a renowned multicultural hub with Korean, Chinese, Taiwanese, Indian, Sri Lankan, Bangladeshi, Fijian, Polynesian, Filipino, Malaysian, Maori and Islamic communities taking advantage of the centre’s professional facilities to stage events, performances and celebrations. Musicians, theatre groups, local artists, schools, colleges, dance schools, conference organisers, wedding planners, chambers of commerce, charities and churches also regularly hire the centre.
The position is offered for an initial 12-month period (extension possible) with flexible working hours equivalent to 3 days per week, and work from home and/or office options.

Indicative Salary Level: $72,000 (Pro Rata) plus Superannuation.
