Developed in partnership with Sounds Across Oceans and led by SAO Artistic Director Dr Anthony Garcia, this program aims to foster an ethos of cultural inclusion, authenticity and promote creative experimentation in a safe and supportive environment for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Immerse yourself in a day-long workshop program that teaches you how to jam in groups, create new sounds and songs, and learn about other cultures and styles. There are no boundaries in this program so all voices, instruments and styles are welcome and encouraged to participate. Whether your passion is playing a traditional instrument, hip hop or classical music, our aim is to bring diverse elements and ideas together to create something new, fresh and original.

Creative Fusions is an intergenerational community music-making initiative; ideal for individuals, friends and families.
