Come join Nana Magic and her friends to make all kinds of fun upcycled things! Uraine Roelofs is a proud Kokatha/Mirning woman originally from Ceduna SA, currently residing in Logan City, Queensland with a background in performing arts. Through her creative show ‘Nana Magic’, Uraine has been able to merge her many talents into a one-woman performance that is highly interactive and informative about First Nation Australian Culture and Language.

De Barrio & Yasim Coronado Veranes

Celebrated Director and Choreographer of Paradox Studio YCV Dance & Nudo Dance Company, Yasim Coronado Veranes has shaped a global career from international stages to Australia. A master of styles from Contemporary to Urban Street Dance Yasim’s innovative choreography has transformed music videos, award ceremonies, and classrooms alike. His diverse journey in dance and cultural connections inspires his workshops, performances and choreography, captivating audiences worldwide.

We are the Australian Taiwan Indigenous Association Inc. the first association formed by indigenous people in Australia, aiming to continue the preservation of Taiwanese indigenous culture overseas. Through songs, dances, and the showcasing of our unique indigenous arts and food, we strive to promote Taiwanese indigenous culture in Australia.

Brisbane Taiwan Indigenous Dance Group

Brisbane Taiwan Indigenous Dance Group was founded in April 2018 by a group of Brisbane residents who were enthusiastic to share the beauty of Taiwanese indigenous music and dance. The group wishes to share their culture and experiences to the wider community, which will depict the beautiful Coy tribe in Taiwan.

Sambalife

Gabriella Cardenas founded Samba Life Productions in 2018 after winning the title of Australasian Samba Queen. She began to deconstruct and reconstruct the Samba basic step so it was easier to teach and learn. Gaby took her knowledge from her classical dance training and years in the fitness industry to create a comprehensive, easy-to-follow, break down of the Samba basic step; giving birth to her teaching method – the Samba Life System.

In 2023, Gaby was honoured to receive a coveted position as ‘Musa’ with the Samba school Imperio Da Tijuca in Rio De Janeiro’s Carnaval!
